Holiday Series: Christmas Sweater Card 2016!

Another Holiday Series post, this time we introduce you our official 2016 Christmas Family Card – yup, the one featured at the top and bottom of this post. All our close friends and family received one alongside their Christmas present and we can’t be more excited to shoot next year with out bundle of joy in it as well. Yes, I know Christmas sweaters are considered to be a fashion faux-pas, but hey, they are fun, they keep you warm and this is the only time of the year when you can actually wear them and not feel completely stupid. Plus, call me hormonal/emotional/whatever, but I love, love, love mine! D got it for me as a surprise for no actual reason and it perfectly depicts how I feel these days: like a fluffy polar bear, but I guess that is normal considering that in approximately 2 and a half weeks I will be delivering the very important cupcake that has been baking inside my belly for almost 9 months now.

img_7381

That said, we hope you had a lovely time yesterday because we know we had with all our family. Let me tell you a bit about our traditional Christmas lunch-turned-dinner… Usually we get together at noon (1-ish) and eat for about 7 hours non-stop. One might say that Christmas dinner is a marathon for us and that would be very true. Sadly though, being so close to term, we could not spend more than 2 hours with our family mainly because I constantly feel the need to lay on my couch and relax these days.

On me:

Sweater – Pull and Bear; Jeans – H&M; Boots – Ugg; Bling – Swarovski; Watch – Apple Watch

On D:

Sweater – Pull and Bear; Jeans – Review; Socks – Happy Socks; Watch – Apple

On Nauca:

Sweater – Camon

Anyways, we hope you like our Christmas Sweaters and promise that we will post annually silly pics for the Holiday Series posts with our expanding family!

Grey Matter!

As you know, we rarely ever find ourselves in the centre of Bucharest, but this weekend I really needed to buy a few pairs of maternity jeans and the only H&M that has the maternity line is in the city centre. Yes, I know, online shopping is a must in this situation, but to be honest, these past two weeks I have been feeling better and more energetic than ever during this pregnancy so I thought a shopping day with D would be perfect. And it was! Once again I received the confirmation that I have not yet changed sizes in pants, the only difference being the fact that I need the maternity belt as I can’t stand anything pressing on my belly and all of a sudden the shopping spirit came back to me.

img_6083

It’s amazing what sizes can do to ones’ morale. Especially when that someone is almost in the third trimester of pregnancy. Do not get me wrong, I have gained a healthy amount of weight thus far, but apparently it is mostly on my belly and on my butt, which, in my opinion is ok – I will do a post on what I am eating during this pregnancy, nutritional info and all, but I have to say that the main difference is I’ve added an extra day of cheating in my diet simply because I will have lots of time to be a diet-natzi after the little princess arrives.

img_6055

On me:

Dress – Amisu (impossible to find online but you can shop it in all NewYorker stores); Shoes – Carvela; Bag – DKNY; Jacket – Pull and Bear (only found an alternative); Bling – Swarovski (bracelet and ring); Sunglasses – Dior; Watch – Tissot

Back to this weekend’s photoshoot…we were lucky enough to have a few wonderful day last week and we took full advantage of them. The thing about pregnant women is that they hardly feel any cold, hence I did not feel the need to wear tights at 15 degrees C and actually felt quite hot at some point (weird, right? – more details on that in the upcoming ‘pregnancy feelings’ post). For the first time I did not feel the need to cover up my expanding booty with a long cardigan or jacket and chose a short faux leather jacket instead. We both opted for a grey theme as that is one neutral colour that is both forgiving and appropriate for the cold season.

img_6075

On D:

T-shirt – Tommy Hilfiger; Jeans – Scotch and Soda; Vest – Bershka (alternative here); Shoes – Converse; Bling – Fossil; Sunglasses – Ray-Ban; Watch – Tissot

The dress… this dress was a very big surprise to me as when I first saw it it didn’t seem like a very good option to me. It is from Amisu and you can shop it in any New Yorker store (can’t find it online) and it is the most comfortable knit dress ever! You know how some knit dresses tend to irritate your skin? Well not this one! This one is so soft and comfortable that I can spend forever dressed in it, plus it hugs my expanding curves just right and the length is to-die-for! This is part of the reason I felt confident enough to top it with my short jacket from Pull and Bear that I’ve had for ages and that I never thought I’d wear during this period.

My shoes are from Carvela and I got them the year I was away in London to get my MA degree therefore I was really surprised to still find them online (this was more than four years ago, after all!) but I guess the two main trends that characterises them are hot right now: platform and wood! They are very comfortable, but not to the point where you can wear them all day long as they are quite high (13 cm) which can be a little dangerous especially because my centre of gravity is changing all the time. Being a sunny day out, I couldn’t miss the opportunity to wear my beloved Dior sunglasses. I also opted for the grey DKNY bucket bag as that was the obvious option for a day filled with shopping because I need both of my hands to be free.

img_6077

D also played along with grey hues and opted for his Scotch and Soda grey jeans with a grey v-neck t-shirt from Tommy Hilfiger. Because he seems to feel the cold a bit more than me, he wore his vest from Bershka to keep him warm. His grey classic Converse shoes could not be left at home – as you can see he has quite the variety of grey Converse shoes. Naturally he decided on finally wearing sunglasses for this photoshoot and chose his Ray-Ban Aviators to complete the look. Bling-wise we were both quite scarce as he only wore his Fossil bracelet while I wore a Swarovski bracelet and ring. We both decided to wear our Tissot watches.

We are keeping our fingers crossed for as many sunny lovely days like this one this autumn and I can’t wait to show you what we ended up buying during our shopping weekend!

Rehearsing…

Despite me feeling wonderful dressed in this lovely skirt, we did not really manage to take as many photos as we usually do because our camera ran out of battery. So here you have all the pics we managed to snap before the camera shut down. No picking among them, just all of them! We decided to go to the park as we felt like this is the perfect time to start rehearsing out park-play skills, especially since the weather is still lovely – hope it stays like this for as long as possible as the temps are perfect for my pregnant-hot-all-the-time-self!

I am keeping my promise about layering and wearing belly tight clothes,as well as avoiding maternity clothes thus far. I got this high slit skirt from Mango Premium (online purchase) last year and haven’t worn it once because despite it being a size 34, it still was a bit too large for me especially waist-wise, but I did not return it as I figured that i will tailor it at some point, but really didn’t get to actually doing so. You can imagine my delightfulness when I tried it on a few days ago and discovered that I fit me perfectly. I just had to wear it as I have no idea for how long it will fit me. I do hope, however, that I will be able to wear it for another few more weeks, when the weather will really become chillier, as I really feel that velvet is the perfect fabric for autumn and apparently it is getting the deserved rave this autumn! Also, another thing that I am loving about this skirt is the fact that it is belly friendly without it meaning to be, so this means that I can still wear a few pieces that have a high waistline. I was under the impression that I was doomed to wear dresses until January (not that I am complaining much about that).

On me:

Skirt – Mango; Top – Pull and Bear; Vest – ZARA; Shoes – Vans; Bag – Michael Kors; Bling – Swarovski (bracelet and ring), Pandora and Tomorrowland; Sunglasses – Dior; Watch – Longines

I paired the lovely velvet skirt with a crop top from Pull and Bear that I used to wear at the gym when my abs were show-worthy and I ended up loving the high-waist-crop-top combo more than expected. To keep things on a casual note (we were going to the movies after the photoshoot) I chose to wear my Vans. To keep my growing Alabama-ass hidden away I layered the entire outfit with this lovely white vest from ZARA and I finished it with my white Michael Kors bag.

On D:

T-shirt – Tomorrowland; Jeans – Review; Shoes – Converse x John Varvatos; Bling – Fossil; Sunglasses – Ray-Ban; Watch – Longines

Because I was wearing a black and white combo, D didn’t feel like matching me all the way and chose a full grey outfit. I didn’t feel like complaining much about that as I do love all the pieces that he wore and felt happy that he chose them. In short, he wore his amazingly fitting Review jeans and paired them with his Tomorrowland t-shirt. To keep everything homogenous, he decided to wear his grey Converse x John Varvatos sneakers, that contain both the shades of grey form his t-shit as well as jeans. Looking at these pics of him, I realise that I should compel him to buy a few more of those Review jeans as I feel this brand tailors them to his body.

Since it was such a sunny day, we both wore sunglasses, I, my Dior SoReal, while D wore his already popular by now, Ray-Bans. I decided to play a bit with my accessories, especially now that it is not as hot as a few weeks ago, so I wore a Swarovski white leather bracelet and black cluster ring besides my usual two rings from Tomorrowland and Pandora. D only wore his Fossil bracelet this time, and we both wore our Longines watches even though our Tissot watches would’ve matched our outfits a bit better (habit, I suppose…).

All in all, we have learned our lesson and we will start checking on the battery every time we go out to take photos as it really was a bummer that we only got to take as many shots as we did. I really wanted some more shots of this outfit and of this moment because our daily photoshoots are over at least until our apartment is fully remodelled!

Lazy days…

Baby bump happening yet again here… Do not be fooled by the title as these past two days have been hectic hence the lack of posting, but fear not, we have been shooting every day. The reason we were so busy these past days is because we visited the baby expo twice as apparently choosing stuff for the baby isn’t as simple as we thought. Right now we are struggling to choose a stroller and there are hundreds of options out there. The big thing about out future stroller is that it has to be as comfortable as possible for me to use it, as light as possible, it must be perfectly tailored for the baby’s needs AND it has to fit into my MINI. I will not change my beloved car for a stroller!

Processed with Snapseed.

Therefore, between getting ready for the constructors to invade us, visiting baby expo twice and me trying to decide on furniture and fittings, we did manage to squeeze in a few photoshoots, but editing and text takes more than the said photoshoot and I was simply too tired when we finally got home these past two days. Saturday is here and I woke up committed to editing and posting at least one photoshoot despite the fact that today will be a full day. It seems to be harder and harder to hide the growing baby bump and to be honest, I did not believe at first when people told me that at around week 19 to 20 it will just pop out and there will only be one direction of growing from that point on: larger and larger.

On me:

Dress – Pull&Bear (alternative from H&M); Shoes – Melissa; Bag – Furla; Bling – Pandora and Tomorrowland; Sunglasses – Dior; Watch – Tissot

Despite the fact that this is a more autumnish dress, I really wanted to take pics in it and was lucky enough to have a slightly chillier day on Thursday. I bought the said dress from Pull and Bear last summer while in Milan and I confess that I am afraid that in a month it will not fit me anymore, so here it is in all its splendour. Naturally, it was in last summer’s collection and the only similar alternative I could find online is from H&M.I just the love grey and yellow together. I think they are the perfect couple for any season therefore I always make sure to have a few garments of each colour just waiting to be worn. I paired the grey dress with my Melissa Patchouli grey wedges which conveniently have a yellow stripe at the back. To make matters even more obvious, I wore my yellow Furla tote that you can’t currently find online right now. the alternative I’ve linked isn’t a very good one as it has a bit of brown in it that I honestly am not a fan of.

On D:

Shorts – H&M; T-shirt – Review; Shoes – H&M; Bling – Constantin Nautics (bracelet 1 and bracelet 2); Sunglasses – Oakley; Watch – Tissot

D also has lots of grey things lying around in his closet and luckily for me a few yellow ones as well. This time he chose his zipper t-shirt from Review that matches the grey in my dress perfectly. To make me happier than ever he decided on his yellow shorts from H&M – yes, the H&M shorts are back into action – and the striped espadrilles also from H&M. I have to say that I was a bit surprised that he didn’t opt for a pair of grey shoes as we all know by now that he has quite a few.

When it comes to accessories, he payed way more attention than I did to the subject and chose two bracelets from Constantin Nautics, while I wore my usual Pandora and Tomorrowland rings. We both opted for our Tissot T-Race watches and we both wore sunglasses, I, my beloved Dior So Real and D wore his long-lost (in my car) Oakley Holbrook pair.

As the weeks keep passing we realise that having a kid is not only about literally giving birth to it, but actually it is way more complicated than that! We have to re-do our house, buy furniture, decide an various things, make sure we take photos of this entire period, have a lot of medical visits, decide on the birth plan, make sure I do not forget that I am still a woman (cosmetic procedures and stuff)…and so on… So this might be a time when we are not as active online as we usually are, or at least for the time being, while the constructors are in the house, but we will try and post as often as possible.

Daytime Festival Feeling…

Naturally, whenever you are attending a festival you should have at least two outfits per day mainly because during the day it tends to be unbearably hot in Romania, while during the night it does tend to be a little chilly, especially in Cluj-Napoca. These were our daytime outfits for the first day of the festival. Unfortunately, we couldn’t have a photoshoot on the festival grounds because D wasn’t allowed in with his big camera, but fear not, next year we’ll also take with us a smaller camera. We did however manage to take a few photos inside with a smaller photo lens especially for our overall UNTOLD post, but it just wouldn’t have worked for a fashion photoshoot.

IMG_4485

Luckily for us, Cluj does have a very beautiful Botanical Garden and we were able to quietly take some snaps there, where it was chillier that in any other part of the city. I have to say that even though I have been to Cluj numerous times during the summer, it seemed like it was never as hot as this year so the lovely lush shade of the trees was very welcome for our photoshoot. If you’re ever in Cluj, make sure you get to visit the Botanical Garden as it is quite worth it.

IMG_4492

Back to the outfits… Since it was so hot outside and I really wanted to have a full classic festival look, I opted for denim shorts and a white flow-y long blouse, both from Mango alongside my denim UGG summer boots. Looking at the photos now, I realised that being quite pregnant has brought on some body changes and shorts do not look as good on me as they used to last year. No, I did not go up a size, these are shorts that I’ve worn last year as well, the only difference is that the entire shape of my body has changed a bit, not necessarily grown larger (well, except for my tummy and boobs). Anyway, I’ll just have to embrace it and work with my new ‘pregnant-booty’ – as that’s how we’ll call it until January!

IMG_4499

IMG_4460

On me:

Blouse – Mango; Shorts – Mango; Boots – UGG; Bag – Michael Kors; Sunglasses – Dior; Bling – Tomorrowland (bracelet and ring), Pandora and Swarovski; Watch – Tissot

The colour scheme is quite simple and close to my heart: white and blue, therefore opting for my navy blue Michael Kors bag was a no-brainer, especially since it fits everything I need for the festival and it isn’t too big to carry around all day and all night long. My Dior sunglasses couldn’t miss the opportunity to accompany me to the best festival of the summer and naturally, I accessories the entire look with lots of rings – Pandora, Tomorrowland and Swarovski. Since this was a festival weekend I just had to wear my leather bracelet from Tomorrowland.

IMG_4471

IMG_4468

On D:

T-shirt – Mango; Shorts – Pull and Bear; Shoes – Pull and Bear; Bling – Constantin Nautics; Watch – Tissot

D also played along and chose his denim shorts from Pull and Bear that fit him just the same as they did last year, but I am hoping that soon he’ll also need new clothes just like me, though that is more about wishful thinking rather that reality, just so that I wouldn’t feel as the only fatty of the house. He also wore his Mango palm T-shirt and denim espadrilles from Pull and Bear. We both wore out Tissot T-race watches, though I have to confess that we did change them for our G-shock ones in the evening just to be sure we will not break them or anything. He opted, as usual lately, for his Constantin Nautics bracelet and nothing else – must be because of the heat.

All in all we are quite happy with how the photos turned out even though they weren’t taken on the actual location of the festival, but as you live, you learn and next year we will be prepared with a camera to actually have some post-pregnancy photoshoots on location!

Boy/Girl???

Right, so we do not know what the little bundle of joy will be, yet! Well, at least not for sure, and we do not want to announce anything until we know 100%, so we decided we will be really careful what we will wear in order for people to not get the wrong hints/idea. so, here we are, again dressed in pink and blue, and, honestly, I’ve really come to love this combo so much! I know that last spring I wasn’t too keen on pairing these to star-colours together, but I think we’ve done it three or four times by now, and I really like the result a lot.

IMG_4927

This is probably the last time that I will wear this dress as, obviously, pregnancy belly and frills around the waist do not really work great together, but I’m glad I got to wear this dress though as I got it while in Milan from Mango and it would’ve been a pity for it to not see the light of day this year. Also from Milan are these gorgeous Valentino Rockstud in petrol light blue that work wonderful with this pink dress. You know me, I love my stilettos, and I hope that I will be able to wear them until I give birth! And these are some of the most comfortable, if not the most comfortable ones I own. It’s decided! I will wear them when the moment to go to the hospital will come!

IMG_4953

IMG_4946

On me:

Dress – Mango; Shoes – Valentino; Bag – Furla; Bling – Swarovski, Tomorrowland and Pandora; Watch – Tissot

Also joining the pastel party, my lilac Furla Metropolis bag that I feel that I have ignored lately despite the fact that I love, love, love it so much! To finish everything, I wore my Swarovski pastel cocktail ring besides my Tomorrowland and Pandora rings. Ok, maybe it’s time to tell you a bit about the always present Pandora and Tomorrowland rings. They are both from D for various important occasions that we celebrated this year and I love them to the point where they are the second most-word jewellery I own aside from my engagement and wedding rings.

IMG_4937

IMG_4930

On D:

Polo – Calvin Klein; Shorts – H&M; Shoes – Pull and Bear; Bling – Constantin Nautics; Watch – Tissot

D also wanted to keep you guessing about our baby and wore his pink shorts from H&M and his blue polo from Calvin Klein, to match my message. I am not really a fan of his ancient Pull and Bear espadrilles, but I have to admit that they do work nicely with this outfit, colour-wise. Bling wise, he just chose to wear a simple Constantin Nautics bracelet, while both of us wore our Tissot T-race watches.

Do not worry, we will let everyone know what our baby will be when we will be 100% sure by probably having a themed photoshoot!.

Not switching to maternity…yet!

Well, back in burning Bucharest… I kinda like the seaside more during the hot summer months, but from time to time we have to get back to reality. The truth is, the only clothes I find bearable these days are flow-y summer dresses which is just perfect as I have to say, anything skin-tight makes me feel like a sausage. My belly is not yet at the point where it actually looks like a pregnant belly, no, on the contrary actually, right now it resembles more a belly stuffed with two large pizzas and three beers, so not really a pretty sight.

IMG_4886

Taking this into consideration, my go-to clothes right now – thank God it’s summer – are summer dresses. As a matter of fact, I don’t really have any other option. Most of my clothes are tailored for my by-now-forgotten small waist. That’s actually the only style that really appeals to me but it requires a toned tummy. Besides the summer dresses that cover the pizza belly, another great thing about summer are the sales. For example, both me and D are wearing clothes that don’t go over 20 E together excluding accessories, shoes and bags.

IMG_4907

IMG_4914

On me:

Dress – H&M; Shoes – Calvin Klein; Bag – Obag; Shades – Dior; Bling – Tomorrowland, Pandora, Swarovski and Constantin Nautics; Watch – Tissot

thing that attracted me to this 7E H&M dress was the print and the fact that it was very appropriate for hot summer days. I think that this dress might fit me perfectly when I’ll be 9 months pregnant, so even if you have a more advanced pregnancy, go ahead and buy it as it will last you throughout the entire period and it’s not even maternity. Apparently this is my M.O. where shopping is concerned these days. I haven’t yet changed sizes where clothes are concerned, so I can still invest in pieces that will last me way beyond my due date. Though, this 7E dress can’t really be called an investment as log as it costs just as much as a McDonald’s large menu.

Moving along to the parts of the outfit that were a bit more expensive. I wore this pair of Calvin Klein platforms for the first time now, after I bought them last autumn. It would appear that the fact that my thighs have gotten fatter, I feel the need to always wear something that will give me a bit more height and proportion. This is one aspect of the pregnancy that will get an individual post –  getting to the point where you understand that you will put on weight, and that’s a good thing. To keep things on a blue theme I wore my Obag, and naturally, the never absent Dior sunglasses.

IMG_4897

IMG_4893

On D:

Shorts – Pull and Bear; T-shirt – Bershka; Shoes – Pull and Bear; Bling – Constantin Nautics; Watch – Tissot

D kept the same colour palette, but a very different print, and I love that he was brave enough to pull off stripes on stripes, especially as he looks so good wearing them. His shorts are from Pull and Bear and were the astounding price of 9E while his T-shirt is from Bershka and was about 5E. The amazing thing about these two pieces is the fact that they work together so nicely, as if they were made to be worn together. He also opted for his ancient espadrilles from Pull and Bear that complimented the outfit nicely.

We both wore our Tissot T-Race watches and it would appear that we have no intention to switch to any of our other watches for now as we are a bit obsessed with them. Bling wise, we both wore a Constantin Nautics bracelet each, while I completed my look with my usual Tomorrowland and Pandora rings and another multi looking ring from Swarovski. D did not wear his Fossil bracelet this time, to my surprise, despite the fact that it would’ve looked great with the brown shade in his T-shirt and in my dress.

I have to say, that even though I am in my fourth month of pregnancy, I do not intend to switch to maternity clothes as long as I can find alternatives. I really hope that I will not have to until very late in my pregnancy.

Park Play!

Well, here we are, at our last post from Paris… While our stay was a short one, we did manage to take pictures every day and we did end up re-visiting a lot of the places we love. One of those places is the Tuileries Garden. Even though this is not by far the best park we’ve seen, for some reason, every time either of us is in Paris, we end up here. I have to say that in order to fully understand the French art of gardening, you have to see this place and admire the way the trees are trimmed to perfection.

IMG_4521

I don’t really want to make this post a long one, and I did say at the beginning of this Paris saga that I will not talk about any of the landmarks, so let’s move on to the outfits we wore. Both of our outfits were bought on location, except for D‘s t-shirt, so this was not planned, but we managed to look decent at least. I love floral prints, and it seems that lately I have developed a soft spot for maxi dresses as well, and luckily for me, D seems to enjoy shades of grey combined with blue accents just as much as I do, so we both loved our last day’s outfits, improvised or not.

IMG_4551

IMG_4502

On me:

Dress – New Look; Shoes – H&M; Bag – DKNY; Bling – Pandora (bracelets and ring)and Tomorrowland; Sunglasses – Dior; Watch – Longines

As I said, most of the stuff we are wearing is newly bought because hey, everyone loves a good sale and we found ourselves right in the prime of the sales season in Paris, so we couldn’t help ourselves. The lovely and very comfortable maxi I am wearing is from New Look  and I just love the peak-a-boo high slit it has. It was a sort of love at first sight between me and this dress as I loved both the print and the colour scheme and on my way to the changing rooms I was just praying for a good fit with it. The shoes are from H&M and despite the fact that these are probably the cheapest pair of shoes I own, they are very comfortable and gave me a much needed hight. I always wanted to find a pair just like this one, but I always thought that they are very uncomfortable. Well, this pair that cost next to nothing is very very comfortable and the pinkish nude colour makes your legs seem longer than ever.

IMG_4542

IMG_4525

On D:

T-shirt – Tomorrowland; Shorts – Pull and Bear; Shoes – H&M; Bling – Fossil and Constantin Nautics; Sunglasses – Ray-Ban; Watch – Longines

Aside from this newly bought items, I wore my DKNY bucket bag that goes perfectly with the base shade of the dress, and my Dior sunglasses. Bling-wise, as you already know by now, I wore my Pandora bracelets and ring and my Tomorrowland ring. D was also neat in his bling choices and went for the Fossil and Constantin Nautics bracelets, alongside our Longines watches.

He also found a pair of very nice and very special low-crotch shorts from Pull and Bear that just couldn’t be missed, especially since they cost the amazing amount of 9E. I honestly think those are the cheapest shorts in his closet, and he figured that if I won’t approve of his choices, because they are low-crotched, he’ll just wear them around the house, as the price was just too good to miss. He also wore his newly acquired espadrilles from H&M that, like mine, were very cheap, but very comfortable and they matched his shorts perfectly. To make my day, he chose to wear his Tomorrowland grey t-shirt because, as he put it, he needed to wear something to match my dress. He finished everything with his Ray-Ban sunglasses.

IMG_4519

Well, my plan was to keep this post to a minimum test-wise, but it ended up being just as long as all the other Paris fashion posts, if not longer. I don’t want to finish off leaving you with the impression that we do not like Paris, because we do, it’s just that there are a whole other bunch of European cities that we like more. True, Paris has its charm, but lately the mayor has been forgetting that the city needs actual cleaning to look nice. Aside from that, Paris is just lovely and we will miss it!

Rompers and Cargos!!!

Here we are at our 100 blog post! I guess we can call this one a celebratory post and maybe it would’ve been nice to have a sort of recap of all the other posts, but truth be told, I didn’t really want to postpone the Milan saga, especially since yesterday I had absolutely no time to do a decent post. These photos were take on our second day in Milan, when D decided to surprise me and take me to the Alfa Romeo Historical Museum (more on that in a different post tomorrow). Anyone that knows me, is aware of the fact that I love, love, love cars and that my first car was an Alfa Romeo Mito. I loved that car so much and parting with it was one of the hardest things I had to do, but I know now that it is loved and happily used by yet another car lover.

IMG_3465

Back on point… Since this was a motor orientated day, I decided to wear a romper and urged D to follow my lead colour wise, hence the whole army look we both rocked that day. Usually, I hate rompers, because, as any woman knows, going to the toilet in a romper is hard work. But that day I wasn’t worried about that at all, mainly because I knew that wherever we would go I would find decent clean toilets, therefore making this task easy and comfortable. As you know, being away, I rarely ever bring lots of bags, but rather I bring along one or two that go with most of my outfits.

IMG_3485

IMG_3498

On me:

Romper – MANGO; Bag – MANGO; Shoes – MTNG; Sunglasses – Gucci; Bling – Swarovski, Pandora and Tomorrowland rings and Constantin Nautics bracelet; Watch – Daniel Wellington

So, moving along to the details of my outfit. Yet again I am rocking a Mango look, both the romper and the bag costing a total of 30 Euros thanks to Mango’s amazing discounts. This bag is so very versatile, as you saw in the previous fashion post, it worked great with my totally hippie dress and works just a great with this utility inspired jumpsuit. Because apparently the outskirts of Milan (where the museum was located) are very much like the outskirts of Bucharest, meaning that if you are a pedestrian you are going to have a hard time – more on that tomorrow- I knew I had to wear the most comfortable shoes I had bought along, leaving me no choice in that department than to go with the MTNG sneaks I got from Madrid. Luckily (well, not luck, but a lot of planning) for me they worked perfectly with the colour theme of the day. Aside from the clothes, the main accessories consisted of my Gucci sunglasses, Pandora, Tomorrowland and Swarovski rings and a Constantin Nautics bracelet.

IMG_3484

IMG_3479

On D:

Shorts – Scotch and Soda; T-shirt – Tommy Hilfiger; Shoes – Pull and Bear; Bling – Fossil and Constantin Nautics; Watch – Daniel Wellington

Obviously, to match the theme imposed, D chose to wear as much camouflage as he had in his luggage. He did go a bit rogue when he decided to match it with light greyish blue. To move along to the specifics, he wore his Scotch and Soda shorts (yes, they are not from H&M) and his Tommy Hilfiger t-shirt. To match and also to get away with his t-shirt choice, he wore his ancient Pull and Bear espadrilles and, to be honest, I was surprised at how well they matched. Aside from that, he only wore his Constantin Nautics bracelet and obviously the Fossil brown leather bracelet that I got him from London this March. We both wore our Daniel Wellington watches with matching nato straps.

All in all, wearing an utility colour made us feel like we belonged in the Alfa Romeo factory and we were quite comfortable throughout the day especially thanks to our very comfortable shoe choices!

Uncomfortable Comfort!

I’m telling you, all this hot, hot, unbearable heat, has to stop at some point! Lately it seems that all I’m doing is complain about the weather. In fact, to be honest, this year has been so screwed-up weather-wise, that I can’t remember myself not complaining about it so far. The thing that bugs me most is that last week, at the beginning of the week we had 18 degrees and it rained like the next biblical flood was about to go down on us and by Friday it was so unbearably hot, like 38 degrees hot. Going from 18 to 38 in two-three days can’t be right.

So far, I have no idea what clothes I should stack away for autumn and what to keep for this summer, therefore, all my clothes are on display in our walk-in dressing room. Last Monday I was wearing my autumnish black jeans and today I have no idea what to get rid of off myself. I feel like walking around in a swimsuit should be office appropriate for these kind of temps. We should even start paving our office spaces with white sand from the Maldives, as those are the kinds of temps we’ve been experiencing lately.

On me:

Shorts – Mango; T-shirt – Lefties; Shoes – Converse; Bag – Michael Kors; Jacket – H&M; Bling – Tomorrowland, Pandora and Swarovski; Shades – Ray-Ban; Watch – Longines

Back to this fashion killer post. D and I decided to spend as much time inside as possible. Preferably right under the AC, but every once in a while, we have to go out for some stupid reason like food, and every time we do that, we also decide to snap some photos because you never know when we are going to die because of the heat and we are very thoughtful and want to leave a vast array of photos for our friends and families. The day we shot these photos was no exception to this unbearable heat, and the moment we stepped outside the vehicle, we both had difficulty breathing (did I mention the high humidity we also have these days?).

On D:

Shorts – Pull and Bear; T-shirt – H&M; Shoes – Converse; Bling – Fossil; Watch – Longines

Anyway, as you can see, I wore as little clothing as possible and opted for a long t-shirt from Lefties that is also going to double as a beach cover-up when we’ll actually have the time to go to the seaside. Underneath the t-shirt are a pair of hot denim shorts from Mango and my new and improved Converse Chucks II. For some reason, actually for fashion reasons, I decided to wear a denim jacket from H&M, but only managed to keep it on for five minutes. The bag is Michael Kors and it’s the same I wore at the Tastemakers party. Also, sunnies are really important these days so I opted for my Ray-Bans. I did nothing fancy with the bling and only added a Swarovski ring to the usual Pandora and Tomorrowland rings.

D also opted for as few clothing pieces as possible, but apparently Mega Image doesn’t let you in topless, so, to my annoyance, he actually had to wear a t-shirt. What better t-shirt to beat the heat wave than his tropical one from H&M? I mean, just look at the print, it cools you down immediately! He too wore a pair of denim shorts, not as hot as mine though, from Pull and Bear and his brand new Converse x John Varvatos. He didn’t even want to hear about bling on this hot day and chose only his Fossil bracelet and we both wore our Longines Hydroconquest watches in the hopes that some hydro-anything will hit us and cool us down. Needless to say that didn’t happen!

I am really hoping that I’ll stop whining about the heat, but until the temps will go down to normal, I am going to do this every single day!
