Favourite so far…

I think I have found my favourite dress/ caftan in the whole world. First of all, with all this getting fat around all the places that I’ve been busting my ass to avoid, I feel like there’s not much that works well with my newly acquired curves. This caftan is different though, it just hides everything that needs hiding and only shows the best you’ve got. Although I’ve always wanted a caftan, for some reason I never got around to actually buying one until this summer in Milan. But I will not stop at this one, NO!

IMG_4117

I will make it my goal to find as many beautiful caftans as possible this summer. Well, especially this summer, as I really need them to make me look my best given the new fattening circumstances…As for the colour theme of this photoshoot, the full blue look occurred by chance and has nothing to do with what our baby will be. I just needed to get that out of the way in order ton proceed to the actual fashion post at hand.

On me:

Dress – Luisa Spagnoli; Sandals – Love Moschino (alternative); Bag – Mihaela Glavan; Bling – Swarovski, Tomorrowland and Pandora; Sunglasses – Dior; Watch – Tissot

Have I ever told you how much I love the blue, turquoise and yellow combo? Well, let me just insist on the fact that in my opinion there is no other combo that screams long summer days more than this one. Like, seriously, there’s nothing better! And, not to brag, but this caftan has all these amazing summer colours combined to perfection, AND (drumroll), D was the one that actually found it at Luisa Spagnoli while we were in Milan. I have to admit that I was very surprised of his find because this is one of my mother favourite shops and we were actually in it trying to find something for her. Obviously, this does not mean that I do not have more stuff from Luisa Spagnoli, it just means that I am surprised that D found the perfect caftan for me there in less than 2 mins.

IMG_4105

On D:

Shorts – H&M; T-shirt – Polo Ralph Lauren; Shoes – Polo Ralph Lauren; Bling – Constantin Nautics; Sunglasses – Ray-Ban; Watch – Tissot

I was totally inspired and decided to wear it on yet another hot, hot, day in Bucharest and I paired it with my yellow Love Moschino bow sandals that I’ve had for ages and that I couldn’t find anywhere online. The reason I chose yellow sandals is the fact that this outfit needed just a bit more yellow in it to prove my colour point. I also chose my Mihaela Glavan gold clutch bag and the huge turquoise Swarovski cocktail ring alongside my Tomorrowland and Pandora rings. I kept my hair neat with a simple low pony as I always do whenever a big print is involved. Obviously, my Dior sunglasses couldn’t miss this sunny day.

D also opted for a turquoise and blue combo, but he skipped the yellow, well at least he tried, but he still had a hint of sunny coloured yellow on his Polo Ralph Lauren sneakers. His polo of choice for the day is also from Polo Ralph Lauren and his shorts are, quite obviously H&M. Maybe I should start making him shop at different stores for a change. He couldn’t be bothered with much accessorising so he only wore a Constantin Nautics bracelet and his aviator Ray-Bans. We both kept kept in line with our Tissot obsession and wore our T-race watches.

IMG_4120

This, is so far, my favourite pregnancy look and I am going to try and find some more similar clothes for this summer and maybe stretch it until early autumn. I will keep you photo updated on my quest for the perfect caftans!

Cravings!

Right, by now you should’ve gotten used to the fact that I am pregnant and therefore cravings are coming full force ahead! I crave the weirdest healthy things, unlike the first two months when all I really wanted was cheesy pizza and pretzels, for the last few weeks I’ve been craving lots of vegetables and fruits. The thing that got me all dinner obsessed lately (for at least three times) is steamed broccoli and garlic yoghurt. The great thing about this dinner is that it will not upset your stomach as the vegetables are cooked, but they are not cooked to the point where they lose all nutritional value.

IMG_4982

Yes, I know that this is a very simple and not really blog worthy recipe, but aside from the lovely looking photos, I want to also use this blog to keep track of my cravings and at the same time, to let mamas-to-be that are in their first trimester that all your unhealthy cravings will soon pass and you will start feeling like a healthy human being again.

So, back to this easy healthy dinner option – I can’t even call it a recipe! Here’s what we used:

  • 2 broccoli heads
  • 2 yoghurt pots – one for each of us so that we don’t fight over the dip
  • 6 garlic cloves
  • 1 tsp olive oil – to bring down the acidity of the garlic (pregnant ladies will know what I’m talking about)

IMG_4981

The entire process take you about 15 minutes, which, again, is a big plus when those pregnancy cravings kick in! Here are all the steps:

  1. Wash the broccoli heads really well and then set everything up for a small photoshoot.
  2. Cut all that needs to be cut (broccoli and mash the garlic) and take lots of photos as well.
  3. Prepare a pot with hot water and let it come to a boiling stage. Put the broccoli spears in a special steam pot on top of the boiling water and let it steam for about 10 minutes.
  4. Meanwhile mix the garlic with the yoghurt.
  5. Arrange a nice plate, take photos and enjoy!

IMG_4972

This is a very healthy dinner as you can see from the Jawbone UP analysis (10/10 on the food scale) and that entire quantity of broccoli on the plate is about 300 gr which is more than enough. All that food gives you about 230 kcal and a very full stomach but it doesn’t upset even the most sensitive pregnant woman and lets you rest very well during the night.

IMG_4953

I know I’ve said that this will not turn into a pregnancy blog, but hey, this is the most important phase in my life and I need to eat accordingly, so the food part of the blog will turn into a cravings diary!

Not switching to maternity…yet!

Well, back in burning Bucharest… I kinda like the seaside more during the hot summer months, but from time to time we have to get back to reality. The truth is, the only clothes I find bearable these days are flow-y summer dresses which is just perfect as I have to say, anything skin-tight makes me feel like a sausage. My belly is not yet at the point where it actually looks like a pregnant belly, no, on the contrary actually, right now it resembles more a belly stuffed with two large pizzas and three beers, so not really a pretty sight.

IMG_4886

Taking this into consideration, my go-to clothes right now – thank God it’s summer – are summer dresses. As a matter of fact, I don’t really have any other option. Most of my clothes are tailored for my by-now-forgotten small waist. That’s actually the only style that really appeals to me but it requires a toned tummy. Besides the summer dresses that cover the pizza belly, another great thing about summer are the sales. For example, both me and D are wearing clothes that don’t go over 20 E together excluding accessories, shoes and bags.

IMG_4907

IMG_4914

On me:

Dress – H&M; Shoes – Calvin Klein; Bag – Obag; Shades – Dior; Bling – Tomorrowland, Pandora, Swarovski and Constantin Nautics; Watch – Tissot

thing that attracted me to this 7E H&M dress was the print and the fact that it was very appropriate for hot summer days. I think that this dress might fit me perfectly when I’ll be 9 months pregnant, so even if you have a more advanced pregnancy, go ahead and buy it as it will last you throughout the entire period and it’s not even maternity. Apparently this is my M.O. where shopping is concerned these days. I haven’t yet changed sizes where clothes are concerned, so I can still invest in pieces that will last me way beyond my due date. Though, this 7E dress can’t really be called an investment as log as it costs just as much as a McDonald’s large menu.

Moving along to the parts of the outfit that were a bit more expensive. I wore this pair of Calvin Klein platforms for the first time now, after I bought them last autumn. It would appear that the fact that my thighs have gotten fatter, I feel the need to always wear something that will give me a bit more height and proportion. This is one aspect of the pregnancy that will get an individual post –  getting to the point where you understand that you will put on weight, and that’s a good thing. To keep things on a blue theme I wore my Obag, and naturally, the never absent Dior sunglasses.

IMG_4897

IMG_4893

On D:

Shorts – Pull and Bear; T-shirt – Bershka; Shoes – Pull and Bear; Bling – Constantin Nautics; Watch – Tissot

D kept the same colour palette, but a very different print, and I love that he was brave enough to pull off stripes on stripes, especially as he looks so good wearing them. His shorts are from Pull and Bear and were the astounding price of 9E while his T-shirt is from Bershka and was about 5E. The amazing thing about these two pieces is the fact that they work together so nicely, as if they were made to be worn together. He also opted for his ancient espadrilles from Pull and Bear that complimented the outfit nicely.

We both wore our Tissot T-Race watches and it would appear that we have no intention to switch to any of our other watches for now as we are a bit obsessed with them. Bling wise, we both wore a Constantin Nautics bracelet each, while I completed my look with my usual Tomorrowland and Pandora rings and another multi looking ring from Swarovski. D did not wear his Fossil bracelet this time, to my surprise, despite the fact that it would’ve looked great with the brown shade in his T-shirt and in my dress.

I have to say, that even though I am in my fourth month of pregnancy, I do not intend to switch to maternity clothes as long as I can find alternatives. I really hope that I will not have to until very late in my pregnancy.

We are baking something until January!!!

As you have probably noticed, I got fatter on all three dimensions of space and we haven’t uploaded a wine review in a while now. Well, before you jump to any conclusions, it is quite obvious we can not hide the truth anymore as apparently I am one of those women that show from the very beginning. WE ARE EXPECTING A LITTLE BUNDLE OF JOY IN JANUARY! Which means that I am now 14 weeks pregnant. Despite the fact that we do have a blog, where we tend to share most of our lives, this is one aspect that we really wanted to keep a secret for as long as possible, but apparently having a small waist has it’s disadvantages as I am really showing and have been showing since week 12, but luckily for me, D is a great photographer and we have been able to kinda hide it for almost two weeks.

I have no idea why we were so keen on keeping this a secret, maybe it’s because we are so very excited and happy about it that is was our way of being selfish. I was even very torn about using this featured image for this post, but I consider you, our readers as part of our family and I thought that it was a good idea to show you what our bundle of joy looks like thus far. This does not mean that this blog will turn into one of those kids orientated blogs, as we are going to keep on doing what we do, but I will write a few posts here and there about pregnancy and, now that I’ve survived the first trimester, I will do a post on that, as everyone tends to avoid that period in all the posts I’ve read so far on the subject.

What more is there to say on the subject… Well we are way beyond happy about this little miracle that we have created and I really do hope that my pregnancy will be an easy one. More details about my wonderful experience so far, next week!

Zahana 33

Since summer is here and our European getaways have come to an end for now, we decided to run to the seaside for the weekend and try and find more great, safe places to eat there. It’s very important if you decide to come to Romania for a seaside adventure, to be very careful where you eat, as a lot of places tend to be mediocre at best with prices as high as a Michelin star restaurant. It’s also best if you try and steer clear of beach restaurants. There are a few that we’ve tested throughout the years that are both excellent food wise, offer a very nice atmosphere and are conveniently located on the beach so you can grab a quick lunch or dinner.

IMG_4716

IMG_4696

One of those places is the newly opened Zahana 33. I say newly opened because they just opened one restaurant in Mamaia at Hotel Lido, but they have a few years of experience in Bucharest – where we first fell in love with their food. This is a traditional Romanian restaurant that has its own meat preparing secrets and basically what you get in your plate you won’t be able to find anywhere else as the chef keeps his tricks very well hidden. Since we brought the chef into our discussion, his name is Catalin Jernoiu and everyone that actually knows something about gourmet food will know right then and there that this restaurant is a must try. Usually you can find the chef at the seaside during the weekends and in Bucharest during the week, so my recommendation is to visit the two restaurants accordingly. I will not spend anymore time on the Bucharest restaurant as we want to review that one as well, so from this point on we’ll only going to talk about the one at Hotel Lido in Mamaia.

IMG_4715

IMG_4713

First and foremost, it’s best if you call ahead and make a reservation, especially during the weekends when it tends to be quite full despite the very big terrace. Even though they do have an indoor restaurant where you can enjoy your dinner, let’s be serious, if you’ve come at the seaside, you probably do not want to spend a minute inside during the day, so it’s best to call ahead. The overall atmosphere is not of a gourmet type restaurant, even though the food is, and everyone should feel quite comfortable there, especially since you don’t feel like you are either overdressed or underdressed. That was achieved thanks to the very casual, very beach appropriate design that combines the feel of the old classic Romanian restaurant – wooden furniture, with the beach feeling you should get while on vacation – various marine elements, including a full burlap rooftop. The staff is very friendly and professional which brings the whole experience to perfection.

Getting to the food part of this review. We went there several times and the one time we did take our camera with us, we were 8 at the table which is why we got to photograph as many dishes as we did. First of all, this being a meat specialised place it’s a pity to not have a meat based dinner, however, they offer quite a wide variety of courses that elegantly avoid meat if you decide that meat is not your thing in the evening. As you know, this is one thing that is a must for me in order to actually put together a restaurant review because, despite the fact that I am not a declared vegetarian, I do enjoy vegetable or cheese based food more that meat based ones. Despite that, knowing how well the meat is prepared here, I ordered something meaty to eat. You should not miss the appetisers as all of them are delicious. As you can see from the photos, you can find a very wide variety of dishes, as well as some of the chef’s specialties, and I have to say that everyone at our table was absolutely ecstatic and full at the end of our dinner. Besides the amazing appetisers, meat and fish dishes – that everyone that ordered fish said it was amazing, but as you know, I didn’t try it – you can’t leave without trying one of their amazing desserts that do not need any description as the pictures speak for themselves.

The wonderful thing about all the food is that, as you can spot from the photos we took, each dish has a certain type of plate which always keeps you guessing an gives the place a very original feel to it. The whole evening, our dinner was accompanied by live music sand by a Greek band which completed the whole experience and made us want to return the next evening. Price wise, I’d say that you pay a lot less than what the food is worth, but on a greater scale, this is a medium priced restaurant, therefore you get the services and food of a very expensive one, but when the check comes you start wondering why you tried other restaurants thus far. This is one of those rare safe places to eat on the beach in Mamaia, so I suggest you give it  a try!

New Hair!!!

I’ve got new hair!!!! Literally!!! You didn’t believe that I just drank a magic potion and woke up with Rapuntzel hair, did you? If you look back on the latest posts, you’ll realise that in Milan I had medium fine hair, while in Paris I seem to have grown long thick hair. considering that the two mini vacations were two weeks apart, that would’ve been impossible to do naturally. So… I finally did it! I got hair extensions! I’ve been thinking about this since forever, but there was always something stopping me. I’ve seen quite a few that look fake even from a considerable distance, I always thought that they were uncomfortable to care for, and the reasons for my scepticism may go on forever.

IMG_4619

Hair after colour process. Current result!

IMG_4621

Hair before extensions. Right before Milan!

Finally, the day before we were off on a plane to Paris, I went to my usual hair salon (Maria’s Hair Studio) for a wash and a blow-dry and I ended up with a whole new set of natural hair extensions. Now, make no mistake, I wouldn’t have let my precious, but fine strands into anyone else’s hands but my good friend Maria because I trust no one else when it comes to complicated things like hair extensions. And was I glad at the end, as not even D could spot a fake looking strand of hair, and he is a perfectionist when it comes to fake-anything!

IMG_4644

Before the hair colour process – on the day of the application.

The process lasted almost two extra hours than what I had planned (for a wash and blow-dry) so I had to leave the professional hands of Maria without actually colouring my new hair, but because she skilfully cut them, one could say that I looked like I had a nicely done balayage. I did come back a week later, upon returning from Paris, to get my much loved ash blonde (as you can see from the featured image). But, before you judge, take a look at the Paris photos and see if the whole thing doesn’t look natural af!

Hair before all the madness – extensions, colour!

Before the colour process – I went like this to Paris!

As said before, I chose the micro-ring method because let’s be honest, I am way to low-maintenance to not wear permanent hair extensions. I think that the ones that you just put on with a hair clip are just too high-maintenance for me, and I am lazy, but I haven’t really gave them a try so far so I can’t really give you my opinion on that. I just took a leap of faith with these more permanent ones. First of all, they are natural healthy hair, from a good source (not from corpses) and my dear friend was patient enough to fill my head with 90 different strands carefully placed for a natural finish no matter if I wear my hair down or in a pony-tail.

After my usual colour treatment!

The aftermath: The first night I felt that there was something different, but by the second night I just slept like a baby, not feeling them at all. I suggest that brush your hair starting from the tips and moving upwards towards the roots and, as for washing, not much changes. The styling now takes me double the time, but taking into consideration the fact that it is natural, healthy, thick hair, the hairstyle tends to last a lot longer than it did before, on my fine hair. Overall, I love it! I have no idea why I waited and hesitated for so long to get them. Be careful though, as there are a lot of places that can offer you this service, but you can end up looking very fake. Take great care when choosing you stylist!

Park Play!

Well, here we are, at our last post from Paris… While our stay was a short one, we did manage to take pictures every day and we did end up re-visiting a lot of the places we love. One of those places is the Tuileries Garden. Even though this is not by far the best park we’ve seen, for some reason, every time either of us is in Paris, we end up here. I have to say that in order to fully understand the French art of gardening, you have to see this place and admire the way the trees are trimmed to perfection.

IMG_4521

I don’t really want to make this post a long one, and I did say at the beginning of this Paris saga that I will not talk about any of the landmarks, so let’s move on to the outfits we wore. Both of our outfits were bought on location, except for D‘s t-shirt, so this was not planned, but we managed to look decent at least. I love floral prints, and it seems that lately I have developed a soft spot for maxi dresses as well, and luckily for me, D seems to enjoy shades of grey combined with blue accents just as much as I do, so we both loved our last day’s outfits, improvised or not.

IMG_4551

IMG_4502

On me:

Dress – New Look; Shoes – H&M; Bag – DKNY; Bling – Pandora (bracelets and ring)and Tomorrowland; Sunglasses – Dior; Watch – Longines

As I said, most of the stuff we are wearing is newly bought because hey, everyone loves a good sale and we found ourselves right in the prime of the sales season in Paris, so we couldn’t help ourselves. The lovely and very comfortable maxi I am wearing is from New Look  and I just love the peak-a-boo high slit it has. It was a sort of love at first sight between me and this dress as I loved both the print and the colour scheme and on my way to the changing rooms I was just praying for a good fit with it. The shoes are from H&M and despite the fact that these are probably the cheapest pair of shoes I own, they are very comfortable and gave me a much needed hight. I always wanted to find a pair just like this one, but I always thought that they are very uncomfortable. Well, this pair that cost next to nothing is very very comfortable and the pinkish nude colour makes your legs seem longer than ever.

IMG_4542

IMG_4525

On D:

T-shirt – Tomorrowland; Shorts – Pull and Bear; Shoes – H&M; Bling – Fossil and Constantin Nautics; Sunglasses – Ray-Ban; Watch – Longines

Aside from this newly bought items, I wore my DKNY bucket bag that goes perfectly with the base shade of the dress, and my Dior sunglasses. Bling-wise, as you already know by now, I wore my Pandora bracelets and ring and my Tomorrowland ring. D was also neat in his bling choices and went for the Fossil and Constantin Nautics bracelets, alongside our Longines watches.

He also found a pair of very nice and very special low-crotch shorts from Pull and Bear that just couldn’t be missed, especially since they cost the amazing amount of 9E. I honestly think those are the cheapest shorts in his closet, and he figured that if I won’t approve of his choices, because they are low-crotched, he’ll just wear them around the house, as the price was just too good to miss. He also wore his newly acquired espadrilles from H&M that, like mine, were very cheap, but very comfortable and they matched his shorts perfectly. To make my day, he chose to wear his Tomorrowland grey t-shirt because, as he put it, he needed to wear something to match my dress. He finished everything with his Ray-Ban sunglasses.

IMG_4519

Well, my plan was to keep this post to a minimum test-wise, but it ended up being just as long as all the other Paris fashion posts, if not longer. I don’t want to finish off leaving you with the impression that we do not like Paris, because we do, it’s just that there are a whole other bunch of European cities that we like more. True, Paris has its charm, but lately the mayor has been forgetting that the city needs actual cleaning to look nice. Aside from that, Paris is just lovely and we will miss it!

Au Chien qui Fume

Au Chien Qui Fume…Here we are again…Me with a glass of something in front of me – the beer is not mine – and D taking pictures of me. The thing with French terraces is that most of the time the tables are so small that you have to order taking that into consideration. Apparently the French do take care of your silhouette. Another low point about French terraces is that usually, you feel like you are sharing your plate with the stranger next to you. All this happened to us the last time we were in Paris and ever since we have promised ourselves to never stop and eat at those types of terraces.

IMG_4446

But, what do you know? When hunger strikes, there is no reason behind any choice you make. Luckily for us, hunger struck near this lovely French restaurant that actually had a terrace. It is called Au Chien Qui Fume and it’s the only terrace I’ve seen throughout Paris that actually has space between tables. This immediately made both of us want to give it a nice review so that other tourists visiting Paris will experience amazing French food in a very nice environment. So, moving along to the food. The menu consists mainly of French cuisine, but it doesn’t exclude anyone, so you can find vegetable based dishes, poultry, fish and basically anything your heart desires, all with a French twist, which is exactly what we wanted for our last lunch in Paris.

IMG_4442

Obviously, both of us had to order some specifically French dishes, therefore I ended up with my favourite – The Onion Soup, and D chose the chicken casserole. What can I say? My soup was absolutely delicious and I knew at first mouthful that this place deserved a review on the blog. If you ever find yourself in Paris, make sure you give this place a try and especially the Onion Soup that was absolutely amazing. D loved his chicken casserole that not only looked amazing, but you could feel the taste of real free range chicken and fresh potatoes. Really, his dish reminded me of a chicken stew that my grandmother used to make me when I was little. Those were the days where you cooked whatever you grew in your yard, all natural, hormone free food.

For dessert I chose the Creme Brulee because, hey, we are in Paris, right? and D chose Ile Flottante which is a dessert I know from when I was little and again, my grandmother used to make it. It does seem like my grandmother was a specialist in French Cuisine, doesn’t it? Well she used to call this dessert ‘Bird’s Milk’ but it’s basically the same thing. The Creme Brulee was magnificent and I love the fact that great quality vanilla was used as that seems to be a rarity lately. I have to say that we were very satisfied with our lunch and we were actually sorry we only discovered this place on our last day in Paris as we really wanted to give a few other dishes a try.

IMG_4437

The cheque came at about 70E which is more than decent considering the area as well as the fact that it’s full tourist season in paris right now. I also loved the decor and the fact that the whole restaurant was open and you couldn’t really feel where the inside area was ending and the terrace begins. It was very nice to feel like we were the only ones at our table especially taking into consideration our other experiences in Paris. This place is defiantly a must-try!

French Brownie…

Turning a bit brown and energetic for today’s post! Both of us wanted to see the Defense area again, because we both remembered it as being this sci-fi new area that was immaculate and new. Now, I don’t really know why, but as I’ve mentioned in our first Paris post, this city seems to get dirtier every year. This area makes no exception. It was a far cry from what we remembered it to be. The entire area was quite dirty, but I have to admit that it still is beautiful and imposing so we really wanted to have a photoshoot there. And we actually couldn’t find a better spot that this rusty-coloured urban sculpture. It matched our clothes perfectly.

IMG_4572

IMG_4571

I actually have no idea why I went for a beige-brown combo for Paris. I mean, when choosing colours, I knew exactly why I was channeling my inner hippie in Milan, but for some reason, I have no idea why I opted for this brown dress. I do love it, make no mistake, just like I love any wrap-dress – I think they are the best! This one I got from Debenhams ages ago, so naturally, there is no way it’s still available online, but I will do my best to find an alternative. The great thing about a well tailored wrap dress is the fact that it tends to be quite forgiving if, by some error you put on a few kgs, as a matter of fact, They tend to look better on curvier figures. For more on that just search Taylor Swift in a wrap dress and compare her with Eva Mendes in one and you’ll immediately get what I mean.

IMG_4611

IMG_4601

On me:

Dress – Debenhams; Shoes – Bata; Bag – DKNY; Bling – Pandora (bracelets and ring) and Tomorrowland; Shades – Dior; Watch – Longines

Back to the outfit and away from the catty comments. I paired the brown dress with the newly acquired brown platform sandals from Bata that are no where to be found online – I don’t know what’s going on with these store exclusives… I paired everything with my greige – I love that colour – DKNY bucket bag and my Dior shades and I was ready to take on dirty Paris in a rusty manner. As for the bling, you’ve probably noticed that while I am away, I tend to wear the same stuff everyday, but that’s only because I love all my jewellery and I tend to wear them everyday for days without changing anything. Hence, I wore my Pandora bracelets and ring and my Tomorrowland ring.

IMG_4593

IMG_4580

On D:

Shorts – H&M; T-shirt – Mango; Shoes – Tommy Hilfiger; Bag – Barcelona; Bling – Fossil and Constantin Nautics; Shades – Ray-Ban; Watch – Logines

D also played nice and went for a beige/greige colour theme. He chose his beige H&M shorts and decided to combine them with his grey palm printed t-shirt from Mango. I just loved the way he mixed beige with grey, but he did take his brown bag from Barcelona that matched my dress perfectly. I can say that my bag matched his outfit, while his bag matched mine. He finished his outfit with his Tommy Hilfiger boat shoes that he seems to take with him everywhere, but I suppose that’s what happens when you have a pair of very comfortable shoes that also look nice. As usual for this short trip, we both wore our Longines watches and D wore his Fossil and Constantin Nautics bracelets.

I know that it seems like these Paris posts are going way slower than usual, but the truth is it’s summer, and during summer everyone seems to have a lot of stuff going on and we make no exception. I promise there will be no more breaks in this set of posts.

Disneyland

This is most definitely one of those posts that requires absolutely no text whatsoever. I mean, if you need convincing to go to this lovely fantastical place, then my text will not do much convincing anyway, so I’m not even going to bother! Everyone, adult or kid, needs to visit Disneyland Paris at least once in a lifetime! Both D and I were lucky enough to have visited it twice so far and we made a pact to not stop now! Despite not wanting to write any text, I do have a few pointers (two actually) that might actually prove useful and money-saving:

  1. You should avoid eating at the A la Carte restaurants simply because the food you’ll find at the normally-priced restaurants throughout the park is very, very good – remember, we are picky when it comes to food – and it’s simply not worth it paying triple the price.
  2. Do not miss the daily parade!!!!!! Seriously, do not miss it!

That’s about all I am going to say about Disneyland Paris and now, I am going to let you enjoy the 100 or so photos I managed to select from our day of fantasy!
